White Sands Elopement

I can’t believe I got to document this gorgeous White Sands Elopement this past summer. Have you ever heard of White Sands National Monument in New Mexico? Rising from the heart of the Tularosa Basin is one of the world’s great natural wonders – the glistening white sands of New Mexico. Great wave-like dunes of gypsum sand have engulfed 275 square miles of desert, creating the world’s largest gypsum dunefield. White Sands National Park preserves a major portion of this unique dunefield, along with the plants and animals that live here. Known for its dramatic views of white gypsum sand dunes, when you first come across it, it can feel very, very surreal. It was here that Mariah + Christopher wanted to say their vows, at sunset, no less.
