I shot this Ruston engagement session a couple of weeks ago and I just had to show you all! We drove out to the Squire Creek Country Club while the Larkspur was in bloom and it did not disappoint one bit. The Squire Creek Country Club is a private, members-only country club located in Choudrant, Louisiana, five miles northeast of Ruston. This Larkspur field makes for the perfect location for engagement photos.

Ruston isn’t that far of a drive for me and it is definitely worth it to shoot in this beautiful field of flowers. The Larkspur blooms in early May and only lasts a few weeks. It’s the perfect time for engagement photos in Louisiana because it hasn’t gotten too hot yet.
